Personal Note

The custom branded silk jacquard woven silk ribbon trim in the centre back is traditionally woven on historic broadloom machines in the English countryside. Considered an almost extinct practice, this particular ribbon weaving technique is now entered on the red list of England’s ‘endangered crafts’. Our ribbon maker’s name is Roberto. What a cat.
