Personal Note

Our creative director, Rae Temily, discovered a crumpled, well-worn crop top from the ’70s in a tiny vintage shop on Bourke Street in Sydney about 20 years ago. The fabric was a floral situation which could easily have been cut from a nonna’s bedspread, but she knew it hadsomething. After wearing it to death in her vintage-only era and then keeping it tucked away for 20 years, it formed the inspiration for the Crescent Top. Rae still has the original because she’s sentimental like that.
